In any other season, Lamar Jackson or Michael Thomas would have easily won this award. They had seasons that were record breaking. If you drafted either of those players you had a huge advantage on your competition. But as good as their seasons were, they still can’t compete with how insane of a season Christian McCaffrey had. If you were to take just his receiving stats he would have been the WR12 in ppr. If you were to take just his rushing stats he would be the RB13. That shows just how insane his season was. It was something truly special from a truly special player.
