If you have Aaron Jones in a league, you’re probably sitting pretty good. He has paid off in a big way in 2019. And for the record, I love Aaron Jones. I have ever since he was drafted. So, when I bring up trying to trade him, it’s not because I don’t like him for the remainder of the season, it’s only because what he’s doing is unsustainable, and here’s why. TOUCHDOWNS! He is drastically over-performing in the touchdown department. He has the most touchdowns per touch in the entire league. He is scoring a touchdown every 12.14 times he gets the ball. That’s insane. Christian McCaffrey is scoring a touchdown every 16.64 touches. Dalvin Cook is only scoring a touchdown every 24.3 touches. And those guys are the #1 and #2 running backs in fantasy football. A fun comparison is Leonard Fournette scoring a touchdown every 214 touches 😂

Jones is also number 1 in touchdowns per yards gained. He is scoring a touchdown for every 67 yards gained. By the same comparison as above, Christian McCaffrey is scoring a touchdown for every 98 yards gained, and Dalvin Cook is scoring a touchdown for every 141 yards gained. To go back to the Fournette comparison, he is scoring a touchdown for every 1,126 yards 🤣 🤣 🤣

My point in all of this is that this efficiency could easily drop off. Yards and touchdowns are more sticky. So if you can get a haul for Aaron Jones, I think you should at least consider it. Maybe Leonard Fournette plus, lol.
